Chamomile+Calendula Balm

Calendula and Chamomile have a long history of use as a wound-healing and skin-soothing botanical. This lovely marigoldlike flower (although called pot marigold, it is not a true marigold) is considered a vulnerary agent, a substance that promotes healing. Calendula also has anti-inflammatory and weak antimicrobial activity. It is most often used topically for lacerations, abrasions, and skin infections. Here, I've taken these wonderful properties and infused them into a salve. The list is long of what the salve is great for but some of my favorite uses are: *Moisturizer (I use it on my face at night and it's fabulous for those typical dry areas such as hands, knees, elbows and feet) *bug bites *burns and abrasions *lip balm This salve comes in a handy 2 ounce tin, it's great for travel! Main Ingredients: Organic Calendula-infused sunflower oil, Organic Chamomile infused coconut oil, organic beeswax, lavender and tea tree oil.
